The Manager, Strategic Operations will work directly with property and corporate leaders to support the use of key enterprise systems and Davidson processes in direct support of company objectives. The Manager, Strategic Operations will need to understand hotel and F&B operations to be able to advise on how various solutions will best work within each operation.
Labor Management & Optimization
Serve as a subject matter expert in labor management, with a strong focus on implementing and optimizing labor systems (e.g., Hotel Effectiveness, Labor Manager).
Analyze labor data to identify cost-saving opportunities and align labor strategy with business goals.
Conduct regular training and support for property leaders on labor tools and best practices.
Provide ongoing education and support to new leaders and properties during onboarding.
System Integration & Reporting
Act as the bridge between enterprise systems and property-level execution by connecting and optimizing tools such as Craftable.
Collaborate closely with the Enterprise Systems team (Manager and Analysts) to extract, analyze, and distribute data to property leadership teams.
Ensure timely and accurate reporting to support property-level decision-making.
Property Support & Training
Work hands-on with property leadership, particularly in Food & Beverage and Procurement, to ensure alignment with labor and system goals.
Provide both virtual and in-person support to properties, with approximately 30% travel required.
Lead or assist in onboarding and training for newly acquired or managed hotel properties.
Strategic Projects & Budgeting
Dive into labor strategies and property-level performance during the first 90 days, with a focus on quickly understanding and contributing to budgeting processes.
Collaborate with Finance leadership and F&B managers to identify and execute strategic labor and cost management initiatives.
