Overview

Join Davidson’s Strategic Operations Team to drive high-profile strategic projects that create and maximize value for the organization and hotel owners. As a Strategic Operations Analyst, you will play a key role in delivering impactful outcomes in our focus areas:

 

  • Portfolio Reporting & Analytics
  • Hotel Operations Process Improvement
  • Enterprise Business Intelligence Systems

 

This role offers extensive opportunities for professional growth and collaboration across diverse disciplines and organizational levels, including direct engagement with senior leadership.

Qualifications

  • Work Experience: 1-3 years of experience in Hotel Operations (Dept Supervisor or Manager) or Operations/Business Analyst role
  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree with a concentration in Business, Hospitality, Finance, or another quantitative field preferred
  • Skills:
    • Demonstrated analytical prowess with a talent for deriving insights, storytelling through data, and presenting actionable recommendations effectively.
    • Critical thinker with a passion for both identifying and implementing solutions to complex business problems
    • Results oriented with a strong attention to detail and ability to proactively manage multiple competing responsibilities
    • Team player who is reliable, understands the importance of the role as a key support function to the Hotel Operations Team
    • Possess excellent communication skills, with an emphasis on verbal and written communication and ability to communicate across all levels of the organization
    • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills – written, verbal and virtual
  • Systems Knowledge:
    • Intermediate to Advanced Excel user, specifically in formulas, pivot tables, macros is required
    • Experience with Hotel Operations Analysis & Planning Tools like ProfitSword, Hotel Effectiveness, BirchStreet, Avero a plus
