Overview

We are seeking a strategic and results-driven Corporate Director of Engineering to oversee engineering operations across our portfolio of hotels and resorts. This remote leadership role is pivotal in advancing facility operations, capital planning, life safety compliance, and sustainability initiatives. Serving as a resource and mentor to property-level engineering teams, you will establish standards, provide guidance, and ensure that guests experience safe, efficient, and well-maintained environments.

 

Reporting directly to the VP of Engineering & Sustainability, you will drive operational excellence, regulatory compliance, and cost-effective asset management while shaping the long-term strategy for engineering across our diverse portfolio.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of progressive engineering/facilities leadership, ideally in hospitality.
  • 5+ years in multi-property or corporate-level engineering leadership.
  • Expertise in building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, life safety, etc.).
  • Proven success in managing capital projects, preventive maintenance, and vendor contracts.
  • Experience with CMMS and related technologies.
  • Strong knowledge of OSHA, ADA, fire safety, and regulatory standards.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and influence teams in a remote setting.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and analytical skills.
  • Background in sustainability/energy management preferred.
  • Willingness to travel extensively (80–90%).
