Learning & Organizational Development Manager (90-Day Contract)

Make an Immediate Impact on Leadership Development

Davidson Hospitality Group is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Temporary Learning & Organizational Development Manager to join our team on a 90-day contract assignment.

The person in this role will be detail oriented, self-motivated, and demonstrate learning agility, with experience leveraging emerging technology to improve performance and efficiency. Top candidates have experience in end-to-end training development, project management, executing high potential development programs, digital authoring tools (such as Scribe, Articulate, Canva, etc.), learning management systems, LinkedIn Learning, and Microsoft 365. The successful candidate can manage multiple projects and collaborate across all levels of the organization to deliver measurable results.

*This is an on-site position at our corporate office in Dunwoody, GA

 

A successful candidate with be responsible for:

  • Use emerging methods/technology to share knowledge and improve learning impact and talent readiness
  • Partner with and influence leaders across the organization from front time to Senior Executive leaders.
  • Develop and manage high potential development programs end-to-end.
  • Create and update learning assets as needed (job aids, toolkits, microlearning, and program materials)
  • Manage Litmos LMS (courses/paths, enrollments, learner support, completion reporting)
  • Manage and coordinate learning and development projects end-to-end (intake, scope, timelines, stakeholders, execution)
  • Facilitate and/or host in person and ILT via Microsoft Teams
  • Align catalog offerings to organizational and individual development needs
  • Partner with leaders to create and track IDPs for emerging and high-potential talent
  • Identify development opportunities and recommend tools and solutions
  • Improve department processes to increase efficiency and scalability

Qualifications

The ideal candidate is proactive, organized, and comfortable balancing multiple priorities while maintaining a high level of accuracy and professionalism.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in instructional design or formal training development roles
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education, professional certification(s), and related work experience is preferred
  • Exceptional project management skills
  • Mastery of, and demonstrated experience, using digital authoring tools, AI in instructional design, Microsoft 365 Suite, and digital media asset creation/editing tools.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong active listening skills
